Play Groups
Play groups generally meet once a week and are held in homes, parks or other fun locations and are organized by age group. This is one of the most popular benefits our club offers. Play groups provide the opportunity for children (and Moms) to socialize with others.

MOMS Night Out
Moms need a night out too! One night a month we get together for dinner, drinks, dessert and adult conversation.
Recipe Club
Do you like to cook? This is an opportunity to showcase your culinary talents or just enjoy some new foods and the company of other Moms and children. We meet once a month at a member’s house to enjoy a themed potluck and let the kids play too!
HOOT (Husbands Out Of Town)
Husband out of town or working late? Want some company? You’re not alone. Coordinate with our leader to meet up with other moms and kids at dinner or any other time while spouses are out of town or working late.
Field Trips
Every month we have the opportunity to visit a local attraction with the kids. These have included the Police Station, Ice Cream Factories, Fruit Picking Farms, Petting Zoos, Arboretums, Museums, etc. We have a great coordinator mom that organizes these trips each month during a weekday.
Family Night Out
Once a month we meet at a local, kid friendly restaurant with the whole family to get mom out of the kitchen and give dads a chance to mingle.
Family Park Days
The 2nd Sunday of the month, we meet at a local park to play. The whole family is welcome. No RSVP is needed, show up if you can!
Sunshine Committee
When any Mom in our chapter needs support either after a new baby is born, during an illness, a sick spouse, or any other time of need; this group is there to offer support in the way of bringing dinners or other support needed.
Monthly Meetings
We meet the first Wednesday of every month to go over chapter business. Typical meetings include a guest speaker and activities and crafts for the children. Childcare is available, but you are welcome to keep your kids with you in the meeting too. It’s a great time to meet and chat with other moms before and after the meeting.
Holiday Parties
The group gets together for parties throughout the year including a Fall Party, Spring Party and Breakfast with Santa. MOMS Club dues help fund these fun filled parties.
Babysitting Co-Op
Each mom receives 10 hours of “Baby-sitting Bucks” per child to start to use for her baby-sitting needs. You simply send an email out to the group requesting a baby-sitter, then all of the moms who are available will let you know and you choose a mom. And when you’re free, you can baby-sit to earn more bucks. It’s easy, free baby-sitting! We have monthly meetings at different houses so that we can all get to know each other better and each other’s houses too.
Coffee Club
Meet at a local coffee shop one morning a month to socialize and caffeinate and let the kids play and color.
While this may seem like a lot of activities to keep up with, we have found that some moms can make some things and some can’t, as a lot of us have to keep up with other activities, naptimes, and home/work stuff - so we have scheduled different days and times throughout the month to give each mom a chance to get out with her kids. Most of our activities have RSVP information simply to give the hostess an idea of how many people to expect, but NO activity is required to attended, especially if last minute things come up, i.e., nap time went over, a temper tantrum happened, or mom is just busy or tired! And having said that, if you find at the last minute CAN make an activity, feel free to just show up! The more the merrier! We all understand the craziness of the mom schedule!
Activities are organized on our monthly schedule, along with contact information and more details and will be sent out to each member in our monthly newsletter. Most activities have an organizer mom that helps with the planning. If you are interested in any of the activities or have an idea for a new one - please let us know!
And one thing I absolutely want to say is that yes, we may meet through our kids, but the friends you make in a MOMS Club will last forever. Play groups and play-dates are as much for the moms as they are for the kids, and we have all built really strong friendships through this group! We always want more friends, so please join us today!
